Yes! I'm a TESL Canada certified English teacher and I earned a certificate in teaching ESL & Adult Education from the University of Calgary.  

I'm a native English speaker and I've taught at universities, colleges and non-profits.

I've worked with thousands of students from all over the world, helping them build practical English skills and feel more confident communicating in everyday life in Canada.

Four private lessons cost $320 CAD plus tax. You can pay the full amount upfront or pay $80 CDN plus tax per week.

You'll pay by credit card using a secure payment link.

If you choose weekly payments, your credit card will automatically be charged $80 plus tax each week for 4 weeks.

Nope! Private lessons are sold in packages of 4 online lessons.

You'll have four weekly, 60-minute private online lessons.

Life happens! MG's English has a cancellation and rescheduling policy that explains what happens if you miss a lesson or need to change your schedule.

You'll read and agree to this policy when you apply for private lessons.

You need to be a CLB 5 or higher in reading & writing and speaking & listening.

MG gives her students 100%, and she expects 110% in return!

You must attend your lessons, complete your homework, follow instructions, and take responsibility for your progress.

Most importantly, you need to use English outside our lessons. We don't want you to study English for one hour and then forget about it for the rest of the week!

We will work on speaking & listening.  Our time together is based on what you did during the week. 

We'll talk about what you tried, what worked, what was difficult, and where you got stuck. 

Sometimes MG sill teach you something new and sometimes you'll practice. 

You will always be challenged you to step outside your comfort zone.

Expect at least 3 hours of homework, in addition to your weekly one hour lesson. 

You must have time to complete your homework and practice English outside your lessons.

Homework is required. If you don't complete it by the due date, your lesson will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Private lessons are application-based, and we only accept a limited number of students.

Not at all! 😊 It's two questions.  You need to write 2 to 3 sentence for each question. 

It's a good way for MG to get to know a little bit about you and see if you're a good fit.

If you fill out the application you will still have a quick video call with MG before you pay.

MG will email you to set up a quick video call. 

You'll talk about your English goals, why you want private lessons, and decide together if the lessons are right for you. 

If you both agree, you'll pay for your lessons and get started!
